Thanks Dan, the Corsair with the pilot in was roped off along with the Hawker Hurricane, Tomahawk, and Spitfire. They all had been flown in from Canada. So they where a little picky on how close you could get to them though I cant blame them. If I owned them I would be the same way.

They must be from Vintage Wings then. I'm hoping to go see that museum later this summer, hopefully for a few days in the last two weeks of August. Great shots Paul! I know it'll probably be too late Dan, but if I go to Vintage Wings, I'll be able to get some more shots, maybe closer up. My brother went a couple years back and he was able to get pretty close, he didn't take any detail shots though.

Well, Ive been busy gettin as much work done as possible.... Got the white done and some of the dark blue squared away.... The landing gear doors came out tits....

Sprayed the wing surfaces with aluminum then sprayed a coat of Future over it to get some wear and tear to show through the blue when the time comes.... Then I sprayed the parts blue, took 3 coatsd to get it square....

Everything is coming together now.... I will still need to do some paint work once the pieces are joined, but Ill tell ya, it was a bitch keeping the white looking white while I sprayed the blue, but the end result came out perfectly....

Got the upper parts of the wing together and the coolers installed.... Also got most of the secondary blue color sprayed and worked on the demarcation lines between the white on the bottom and the blue....

Gonna have to touch up some of the white here and there but all in all, its really startin to look like a Corsair now.... Pics today sometime....

Looks brill Dan! The contrast between the colours and the zinc chromate will really make all the detail pop out when it's finished. Great job mate!

Couple quick pics before I go off to work.... Got the cowling almost square now with the tri-color camo and started on the first coat for the fuselage, matching up the demarcation lines between the two.... Also worked on the ammo bay doors, using tape to pull off the blue and reveal the alum underneath....
