Right..... Have masked off the red/white of my Dora-9. Now is the question, is it a good idea to spray the whole crate in RLM76 first, being the lightest colour, then follow with RLM75, RLM81 and RLM83?

Well, I got bored and tossed on a few light layers of RLM76....

Just let it sit to dry for a couple of days now....

Have to say that they cover really nice, well, had some problem with the yellow, but that's something I think is general for all manufacturers. Easy to clean they are as well, flow is good too, the red was a shocker though!  There's been a few times when I've thought that I've had a bit of a "orange" finish when done, but when I've returned to check later, it all have settled down a nice and smooth finish to my surprise...
I'd recommend to try their "Air" series out absolutely, as well as their "Model" one, haven't tried to thin that one out yet, just brush paint....

Edit: With "Model" I mean "Model Colour"....

The Air series of the paints has been prepared for airbrushing only. But the Colour series can be applied with a brush as I remember.

THX Jan for the short info.:D

As Wojtek so kindly informed..."Air" series is for air brushing and is already thinned. Their "Model Colour" series is for painting by brush....can still be thinned for air brushing though.

Anytime Wojtek, you're most welcome!

That, my dear Wojtek, I have no idea about, haven't tried that as of yet, sorry. Checked the bottles, but it only says that they can be dilluted with water, not how much etc...:(

I like the sound of the 'Air' series paints. Even though they are acrylic, I might give some a try - on something unimportant of course!
I have the feeling it's going to take some time to get my paint replacement finalised, but, from what I've seen of your Dora Jan, I think that I might use the Vallejo for spraying. It looks very nice, with a good smooth finish.
Should look cracking with the other colours on.
