Put the Gloss coat on the lower surfaces today, but before that I corrected one small detail on the ship kills....the Aircraft carrier on the starboard side had a pointed bow but I did not trim the decal at the time and it stuck fast after I applied it, so today I fixed it.
Simply cut a piece of cardboard in the desired shape layed it over the ship and sprayed some RLM 70 over the bow of the ship decal. Quick and easy!!
Painted the Spinners White, will need a thin mask to create the thin white stripe then paint over with the Green...mostly worked on the He111 the past 2 days.
looking goooooooooooood..hope you also noticed that the canopy should have sliding windows on both sides..
but you are doing great
may i make a suggestion.. airbrush the "decals " on the divebreaks..and they should also be painted on both sides
and the tip of the pitot tube is brass and the winglight is yellow..just some small details.. now my model cant compare to yours but just thought that since you make such a high class model the details should be correct
Great extra info there too Gutt! Especially regarding the painting of the Balkenkreuz on both sides of the dive brake - always wondered about that since making the Monogram Stuka a s a kid...
I've got this thread tabbed for when I do my own Ju 88A-5 (conversion of 1:72 Italeri A-4 for the B.o.B build)...
