Alright so I'll just wait for the very end, to do the exhausts, tailwheel, gun housing etc.

And is the color OK, I felt it wasn't for some reason.

The light blue...I think it looks very good. You can try to add one very small drop of a red paint to the mix 10:7.

Concerning the gun housing....if you meant the ones on fuselage you have to attach these. The reason is that you have to paint the camo scheme there that was on these MG coverings.

Herrison the drop of a red paint is not anything necessary. You can check how it can look like of course. But you don't have to add it.

Ok, I can't do it right now ( I have to go eat breakfast in about 5 minutes) Then I have to get ready to go for school, but I can when I get home and I'll post pictures.

Ok, for all still interested in the thread. I completed the tail wheel. I added pivot retainers to the wings, the numbers aren't raised so I can't sand them down....... Then with the upper two halves of the wings I painted the gun barrels.

The next step is to finish the wings and glue them together.

Went a head with the wings, they are not glued to the fuselage yet , next step is to add the landing flaps to the underside of the wings, and then add them to the aircraft themselves. I may be done as soon as this weekend, with construction. Because after I add the landing gear and attach everything else, it's painting time.

are you going to make it one of the bird's American pilots that flew with 112 Sqn

RAF 112 Sqn Tribute
if you check nominal role they had a number of American pilots serving in the RCAF flying with 112 SQN some good reference for you on this site

Arg it says the page is no longer there..... I would like to do an American bird, if I had know, but if the Decals prove to hard it's always a reference...

Would you mind posting what the page says? Just copy and paste it. Thanks!!

Did the landing flaps, one gave me so real trouble. It didn't have a hole in the wing, where the part sticking out, should fit, so I glued the top and stuck a toothpick in the keep it sticking to the top. Looks good?

PB, if you didn't see my post on the other page, the site doesn't work for me, well the Nominal part. It doesn't allow me to access it, can you post the info that on there here, possibly?

Thanks!

Alright, for tomorrow, incase I don't get on, depends if it's raining or not ( Soccer practice, then studying for 2 tests.) A couple questions.

1: Should I go ahead with any painting before I attach the wings?
2: I have brown and mid stone paint, those are right though?
3: The underside of the aircraft, paint it or not? Before the wings go on?

Thanks

EDIT: Some pictures of the wheels and what not. Assembly tomorrow.
