Oops... something wrong with the thread.

Too long Harrison. What is more you used an adhesive transparent tape for keeping their shape. Look at these pics above. The strip width is as my thre fingers together. And no tape there. Try to do it like me.. The grey sandpaper looks very good. But you will start with the orange one.

Because my system couldn't refresh my screen. It tried to do it but without any success.:(. SO I deleted it and posted again.

Orange is smaller than the gray because that is the last of orange sandpaper besides little strips I cut. After my birthday, I need to get to the hobby shop again.

On another note, I think my airbrush came in the mail today but can't have it till my birthday, Thursday. :(

Understood Wojtek! I have to use my parents laptop to see pictures because I get some stupid block occasionally. :(

So do what is show in pics 1 and 3 not picture 2.

The first pic shows how you have to move the sandpaper at the transition area. It has to go forward and back .You can use directions from the model nose or the tail one.It doesn't matter.
The third pic shows that you can sand fuselage side because you can move the pipe up or down.
So now you knew what is going on.Use the orange sandpaper as the first one and sand down most of the putty at these areas. Then use the grey one to make the surface of plastic better ( smoother). The putty should stay in the gap only.

Wojtek, what am I doing wrong, after tons and tons of sanding this is my result .... :(

And the other wing, the putty bond broke so the putty is setting on there again.... :(

Testors one, but the way the wings are assembled, it makes it near impossible to sand without ruining the putty in the crack, hmmmmm..

Small gaps are the main problem for most of putties.Of course there is anothe way of filling gaps but it needs time to be hardened by the putty.

Wojtek, it seems nothing more is coming off, and with my fingernail, it's VERY smooth.
