Cheers Aaron. Wasn't the weather I would have chosen, but it worked out alright. Today I am off to shoot the civil war re-enactment here locally...in the rain. What am I doing?

Thanks everyone. It was a lot of fun despite the cold temperatures. I just got home from a Civil War re-enactment and have about 900 photos to go through.

After a night of rest, I braved more rain and cold on the ground to shoot something a little older. The annual Blue and Grey event in my town took place the following day. It's a historically accurate look at the Civil War. Click the banner below to see the galleries

The last photo is from the series "You killed my brother". It was quite a scene in the midst of the skirmish that really showed the heartbreaking reality of war.

So While I was at Camarillo prior to the Veteran's Day shoot, a guy caught me without me even knowing I was getting photographed.

So While I was at Camarillo prior to the Veteran's Day shoot, a guy caught me without me even knowing I was getting photographed.

So he must have been a long way off or your eyesight is not what we thought it was.

My attention was drawn to an inbound aircraft, so I didn't see that coming!

You can spot an aircraft 50 miles away, but miss the guy standing 5ft from you.

I'm the same way. I'll be talking with a buddy and if a C5 flies over I quit talking and just look up and he'll make the comment, "How do you even know what that is?" and I'll say "It's the only high bypass turbofan with a rod knock."

Yep, I can be guilty of hyperfocus when I see a warbird coming in. It was either the C-47 on final, or the T-34 (and this T-34 in particular, was my ride).
