That actually turned out pretty cool!

A person could use that printing technique on wood building projects, like a sewing box, jewelry box, etc...lots of posibilities!

An interesting idea for sure. Certainly it still looks OK, despite not coming out quite right, always the next time though...

I am going to see if a laser print turns out better. I also have a black and with shot to try. I like the idea, I just have to get the technique.

I have been playing in Photoshop today and got some cool results.

I have now had my first article written...about me! The CAF SoCal Wing Flightline editor write a 2 page article about me, and there are quite a few photos of mine in this issue as well. I have been helping these guys for years. Follow the link below to the PDF of the newsletter. The full moon and clouds last night combine with the crisp night air to create a halo around the moon. I was taking out the trash and spotted it. I ran back inside to grab the camera.

WOW! That is a great shot! You can see the blue above the moon, the orange and red below it and most of the halo around it. Excellent!

The weather forecast for today looked really bad earlier in the week, but we ended up having a pretty good flight. It was cold and rainy in spots, but I toughed it out with the canopy open (my hands were FREEZING!) We had a T-6, B-25, C-47, 4 Nanchang CJs and 2 T-34s. I was in one of the T-34s and we flew off the wings of the C-47 and the Nanchangs flew off the B-25. The T-6 joined last minute because the owner's P-51 had a coolant leak.

It was a huge honor to be part of the flyover to salute our vets and current military members. As a bonus, the guided-missile destroyer USS Milius (DDG-69) was in Santa Barbara Harbor. It was quite a cool Veteran's Day celebration.

Chris, I think it's Venus. But I could be mistaken.
