I am going to see if a laser print turns out better. I also have a black and with shot to try. I like the idea, I just have to get the technique.

I have been playing in Photoshop today and got some cool results.

Thanks Aaron.

I have now had my first article written...about me! The CAF SoCal Wing Flightline editor write a 2 page article about me, and there are quite a few photos of mine in this issue as well. I have been helping these guys for years. Follow the link below to the PDF of the newsletter. I am on the front cover masthead and on pages 6-7 for the article, a full page of photos on page 9 and other various photos scattered throughout.

The full moon and clouds last night combine with the crisp night air to create a halo around the moon. I was taking out the trash and spotted it. I ran back inside to grab the camera.

The weather forecast for today looked really bad earlier in the week, but we ended up having a pretty good flight. It was cold and rainy in spots, but I toughed it out with the canopy open (my hands were FREEZING!) We had a T-6, B-25, C-47, 4 Nanchang CJs and 2 T-34s. I was in one of the T-34s and we flew off the wings of the C-47 and the Nanchangs flew off the B-25. The T-6 joined last minute because the owner's P-51 had a coolant leak.

It was a huge honor to be part of the flyover to salute our vets and current military members. As a bonus, the guided-missile destroyer USS Milius (DDG-69) was in Santa Barbara Harbor. It was quite a cool Veteran's Day celebration.
