OOB Build

And now for something completely different.

Incredibly hard to pick a favourite so I thought I would go with this magnificent airframe. Have not seen one done for a long time that I can remember.

Not sure which specific aircraft I will do but I will let you all know when I have decided.

I will get her started after I complete my Coastal Command B-17 for GB 48.

Construction has begun. Model master interior green has been used to get started on interior and cockpit pieces. Have not used enamel paints for many years and this bottle came from the stash of my friend Bob Connelly who passed away last September. This build is being done in his memory and I will used as much of Bob's stuff as I can during it.

What I remember most about enamels is they take a bit longer to dry thoroughly and are not quite as convenient to clean up after.

More than what I show in the picture has been done but this is a post to get things going.

I built Eduard's P-39 a few builds ago and I found it to be a great kit. Enjoy the build.
