Cockpit assembly is finished including the weight for balancing the aircraft. Thank you Eduard for including this in the kit. Hint hint to other manufacturers.

I have glued the assemblyto the starboard side of the fuselage and taped it together to hold it in place while the glue cures. Very nice fit.

Fuselage halves are glued together.

I have reapplied the gunsight at least 5 times. It is in a bitch of a.spot when it comes to handling the model.

Excellent tip Andy. I am away from home right now but IIRC I am at the point where that is totally doable. It is not a simple canopy because of the door entry but I have to tackle it at some point so why not now.

I believe this is the electronics intended to be depicted behind the pilot's seat. It is a BC-966 IFF unit. I know of no other kit that inlcudes it.

Tail feathers are glued into place, wheel well tops glued and radiator intakes and screens also in place.
