Good point and will be interesting to see input on this. As for myself, if designated as night fighter all be it in a multi all weather roll, it should be okay. But this is just my humble opinion.

If it's painted black, it's in.

If it's capable of daylight ops as well, that would include almost everything since the 60's or so. As big a fan of all eras, that seems too much to me. I tried to sneak in a F-117 and that didn't seem too popular.

One of the first planes mentioned was Seahorse and a search lead me back to this forum. Then I saw that it would be possible to use Mustang for Nightfighter, Pacific Theatre, Carrier, Mustang and possibly Zombie.

Interesting idea for the Navy's P-51D.

To add to that, the Navy trialled more than one Mustang.

In addition to the ETF-51D (P-51D-5-NA 44-14017), there was a P-51 (41-37426) and two P-51H types, P-51H-5-NA (44-64420) and P-51H-10-NA (44-64700).

I have two possible entries for the Night Fighter build- I need something of a palate-cleaner after the Smer SM.79 I've just finished.

The Naxos bits and decals for a Messerschmitt Bf 109 G-6/U/N4 are en route from Hannants, and will be fitted to an Eduard Overtrees kit I had in my stash. Can I put this into a new entry so long, while I wait for the bits to arrive? Or should I wait for the bits before starting the thread?

The other option is a Revell Ta 154, which is due to arrive on Tuesday.

Yeah, start the 109G thread. It will be a while before you need to install the Naxos stuff anyway, though there must be a box in the cockpit somewhere. I'm really curious to see this setup so look forward to your buid.

You could do an F-4, or maybe an F-4 then there is always an F-4. But for something different there is always an F-4
