Just a quick one of my friend snowboarding. Got a couple more on the camera that I need to look at and do some work on. Will post them up after my exams. Few more here but this one is the best of them. Rest are coming (slowly).

Nice! What clan is that tartan pattern? It looks similar to the Robertson hunting pattern.

It is a Modern Farquharson in Military Pleat (although you can't see it because its on the back).

Here are two shots of the front and back to see it better (slightly less formal occasion though - Graduation was White Tie).

Ah, okay. I know the differences for some tartans is real slight.

Yep, that is my clan tartan so that's why I have it (got it for my 21st from my paternal grandmother - same for my brothers).

Some of the differences are very slight. Had some Americans take a picture of me just because I was wearing it which I thought was quite funny.

Suppose I should get back to this thread, considering it has been six months.

Here is a selection from that time. Last couple are using the flash I got for Christmas - a Canon Speedlight 430EX-II.

Local estate whilst walking the dog, attempting to get the contrast of the autumn leaves against the Saltire flying from the house. Wind was playing with me though, so didn't come out as well as it could have.

One of friends snowboarding, using flash to expose the foreground to attempt to keep the sky in check to show its colour (with a little help from Photoshop).

Dog (think my brother took this with the flash but I'll claim it anyway )

The color of the sky is awesome in #3 and the dog photo should be framed and hung on the wall!
