He He ! Reminds me of the time I took out a squirrel with an M16, in the days when we were still allowed firearms here. (It was the semi-auto, chambered for .223). The 'tree rat' had been nibbling away in the roof space of our 300+ year old cottage by the riverbank ( I was still married then, and not living where I am now!), and I was getting slightly p*ssed off with it. Saw it sitting in a tree the other side of the river, so grabbed the rifle and squeezed off a round. Bl**dy thing almost vapourised, but the bullet went through another small tree, then a fence post, before striking raised ground around 75 meters away !
Oops !!

I live in the city and our neighborhood were over-run with the da*n things I was going to buy an air rifle a couple of years ago to reduce the population until I found out what I would have to do to keep one legally. Unbelievably restrictive rules, that are the same for a high powered rifle . Our Mayor has decided to try his best to take the guns away from every one but the criminals who don't follow the da*m gun control laws anyway. I don't and never have owned a gun, but when I found that out it just p!ssed me off. Sorry for ranting Terry. I guess I should just get myself a more accurate nail gun. That is, until they start restricting those too!

Get yourself a possum trap Glenn and a bag of nuts. Nuts in trap, bag a squirrel and it's squirrel pie for tea. Simple.

Nut-flavoured tree rat pie? I think that's what the Hippocroccofrogs have been eating in this town !
Reminds me of that old TV advert for the 'Topic' chocolate bar - "What's got a hazlenut in every bite?" "Squirrel sh*t !!"
