Yup - but I'm still wondering how you get the shading effect - post vs preshade?

Some references I have show the outside of the cockpit tub and wheel wells unpainted in bare aluminum (see below) but I like what you've done.

I looked for photos of the 262 A1. Those found, most were black and white photographs. I could not identify which color. Of the few color photographs, some seemed RLM 02

but maybe I'am wrong

other seemed ...

I could not identify the color and other natural metal.

I kept having doubts. So I decided to follow the instructions of the Trumpeter.

Consistency was spotty towards the end of the war. It's plausible there were painted wells.

Quite possible early production aircraft were painted, before the need for cost saving measures and speeding up of delivery..?
