My attempt at night photography

After seeing those night shots in Njaco's thread, it inspired me to give it a go. This is the first time I've tried this, and I was pleased with some of the shots I got, however a tripod would have been nice! and I'm no expert when it comes to photography. Anyway this was all an experiment and I had great fun doing it. Here are some of the "better" shots.

Nice! Tripods definitely help with night shots, but these came out pretty nice.

Thanks for the comments guys, all done for a bit of fun, and even though they're not the greatest photos, I was happy with how some of them turned out.

Nice shots...my camera isn't made for night shots so all my photos are in daylight, sunrise or sunset.

Full moon ... 840 mm focal length (equivalent), 1/800 s, hand-held. Some chromatic aberration from the use of a 2x telephoto adapter is evident.
