Took my daughter to Disneyland for her birthday Wednesday and took some shots. Not too good they were with my Canon Powershot 630.

The Mission Inn is really beautiful. I love what they do to decorate it for the holidays. My sister used to live just down the street from it and we would go see it during the holidays with the lights and decorations. Nice shots!

Thanks Eric, I have only been to the Inn once when it was decorated, I'll try and get there this year and see if I can get some pictures to do it justice. They are starting to decorate it now, it is really beautiful when all lit up. I've never taken night shots like that with this camera, does anyone have any suggestions on settings and which lens is preferable, I just got a 18-200 canon, thats what I used for the above shots

Wheels it is really worth the trip to see it when it's decorated.

Thanks Aaron, couldn't find any barns so I took the old churches, were going to the San Diego zoo or Wild Animal Park tomorrow, maybe see some barns on the way, I hope.

I couldn't resist taking some shots of my Bird of Paradise and Day Lilies.

Thanks to all for stopping by and looking.

Take a good Tri-Pod and use the mirror lock setting and the time delay on the shutter button. My time delay is set at 10 seconds. The tri-pod will hold it still and the two settings will help keep camera shake to a bare minimum. Oh and practice shooting lights in the dark before you go to get an idea of the camera setting you'll need.
