How are you dear colleagues in plastic
, it came to an end a beautiful season, and I could not move forward as I wanted with my Razor.
After the quality and quantity of information and great pictures provided, I've really worked hard to improve my skills and thus get a better level of detail
. (something I enjoy a lot ... although the eyes are claiming me 8) !!, lol)
Start with the cab, two-tone belt made of white tape and Tamiya. Adjusters straps made them taking only two squares mosquito netting and buckles made of wire.
In the pictures does not look much, but I liked the tone of the seat and burnout that I did with dry brush with aluminum.
The colors used in levers and instruments are Humbrol enamels and Testors.
Some dry brush sides and floor then finally apply a wash of oils in general.
Apparently not much progress, but the hours I dedicated to her, have left to me somewhat satisfied and with a lot pleased to share the photos.
I have yet to paint color leather the basis of the joystick and finally apply a light coat of matte varnish.
In the engine I used copper wire and some pieces I elaborated some with small pieces of circuit boards and styrene to the upper and lower engine details (do not know the names of these parts) and a piece of mesh to simulate a filter in the air intake.
I applied a wash with oils and I have pending give it a pass with matte varnish.
Referring to the gear leg I tried as much detail as suggested by Terry and Andy (thanks again for such a wonderful contribution to this bench).
Are still not fixed the legs at the doors (so I still have to put two rods in each leg that hold the door for the middle part. I hope your kind comments.
Now I am detailing for a second time the dashboard of the cab according to most original images I got on the internet ..
Soon I will upload pictures and still in the process of detailed (it took me more than expected time
, but worth it for the results so far ...)
Thanks for joining me and really appreciate your views.
Saludos gratos para todos
