Here's my 1/48 Hasegawa AU-1, done up in then-VMA-323 "Death Rattlers" markings. Nothing flashy, but I wanted to build all of the Corsair versions so why not go with the theme I've been working one? The WS's are cut out from white decal sheet. Most of the photos I could find of 323's AU-1s had the WS on the landing gear doors as well.















Here's my 1/48 HobbyBoss F4U-4, also done in VMF-323 markings. This is the scheme that originally had me wanting to do a series of this squadron. Not a bad kit, not as good as the Hasegawa ones, but it fit fine. My only issue is the canopy is too wide, and the windscreen looks quite odd.











Sorry that they're on a blue background, but my desk is the place where I can get the most light on them.
 
Since I'm new here I've been going back through this thread and there's some great talent on this site!Love looking at the quality work ,keep 'em coming!
 
Catch22, Ditto, I really like that 2nd F4U. I've made 2 corsairs, the first being Pappy's and the second, has the radar pod on the wing, don't recall right now which one
