Sorry to hear about that, flying not just racing, (but racing even more so) can be very dangerous. I have know too many friends that flew professionally and died in a small plan crash. Thousands of hour in the air and then flying home for a weekend and it all over. Scott Crossfield (no I did not know him) died like that.
