Not to venture into politics, Shinpachi, but in the 1920's didn't Poland and Japan have a special fondness and relationship with each other :). One of Stalin's obsessions was that meddlesome, knieving upstart, Poland, on his flank :). The Poles had routed the Red Army in the Ukraine right after achieving statehood -- and Stalin feared Poland. And of course we know what Japan did to Czarist Russia in 1904 - '05. [My source for Stalin on Poland is "Bloodlands", T. Snyder]. The 2 countries seemed to sharea common enemy.

Neat stuff. It looked like they had a T-34 hanging from the ceiling, but they didn't get to it in the video. Oh well, there are some nice aircraft in there and they look to be well preserved. Good post, Shinpachi-san.

Yes, those planes are showing the early days of JSDF.
Opened by IJA in 1911, Tokorozawa airfield was the oldest one in Japan.
