As I recall, someone mentioned leeches. Personally they rank as semi-creepy though I do recall one that attached itself to my non-walking leg. boots and a good blousing job kept most of them out. it's the bleeding AFTER they are removed that's creepy

Just to give you a heads up, that last picture on the bottom right showing the teeth, is not a leech, but a Lamprey. Which is actually a type of fish. The actual picture is that of a Sea Lamprey.

You are correct, my error. Looked back and the pic is labeled as a leech. the lamprey that come to my mind is the species that has its teeth on its tongue. once attached they use their tongue like a rasp to wear a hole in the side of the fish. I will correct the post

Thank you Wayne and Mike. And as for the screams, twasnt me. I think they are cool because of there attitude. They think they are the biggest thing on the planet. When you startle them they really cop an attitude. I need to find her before I paint the car tomorrow so as not to kill her. Oh, and their curiosity is unrivaled also.

With those eyes, they are supposed to have 360 vision and the sharpest vision of any insect up to 50cm or so. no web so they're hunters and stalkers. When startled keep hands clear, they bite but not very toxic, like a mild wasp sting. Very cool
