Totally true! I have never been to the Statue of Liberty even though I live in a suburb of NYC or even the World Trade Center which I could see from Jones Beach near my house!

Starting off, were still at Green Gables, this time inside the house. I have to admit, the wall paper mesmerised me.











From there we moved on to Nova Scotia and the town of Pictou for lunch. This is the home of the replica sailing ship 'Hector' that brought Scottish settlers to Nova Scotia in 1773. It was open for viewing at a price but as you can see, the rigging and masts had been completely stripped down as the vessel was undergoing refurbishment. So I just contented myself with a couple of pics

Moving onward in this endless tour, after Pictou we wormed our way to Cape Breton............................











having a nice relaxing stop on the way for a bit of a country stroll.
