Thanks Wayne, Gnomey and Hello Ian!

Please let me show how the outer skin made of duralumin looks like.
Tiny wind holes around the cowl will be added later.

For your references about materials,
Fuel tanks : Tin
Frame pipes : Chrome molybdenum

Thanks!

Thanks GG and David for checking!

Shinpachi, are there any surviving examples of this type that you're aware of?

As far as I know, there is a complete original airframe in Indonesia and a replica in Japan.
I think the pipe frame of the replica came from an original.

One engine relic in Japan and another engine with broken airframe in Thailand though they do not notice it K5Y.

Next will be the control stick and its peripherals, Aaron
Thanks!

This is my first post on these forums which I lurk often.

I couldn't resist any longer...

Your work is breathtaking, Shinpachi. Every single image you've posted of your work progressing I can just sit and stare at for hours.

It's inspiring me to move ahead with my similar project with a Russian La-7 from the old construction manual.

Thank you for sharing your work with us and please know that many of us greatly appreciate what you do.

I first found your work the evening after I saw my first Zero (A6m3) flight at the Palm Springs Air Museum. I was reading Saburo Sakai's biography story and decided to google Zero detailed schematics - wow was I impressed when I found your posts here.

Sorry to ramble.. I should have posted sooner.
