Thank you very much for your kind comments as always David, Gnomey and Aaron!
Thanks Aaron for noticing the turnbuckles :)

Manual also says the cross-section of piano wire must have streamlined shape, not round.

Really enjoying the progress, Shinpachi!

If the wire is to be ovoid instead of round, how would they prevent the wire from "snaking" or "twisting" which would allow it's widest area to be against the direction of the airflow in certain areas?

Thanks for your kind comments Aaron and GG :)

So it would be tear drop shape perhaps?

Yes, it is.

No more detailed information in the manual book except the wire thickness was 8 mm (approx. 1/3 inch).
That might have been thick enough to hold the direction.
Sorry but this is all that I can tell you at the moment.

Thanks Thor for your kind comment too :)
That is what I am afraid too but, in CGI rendering, any style like applying clear skin or cut-away view is possible.
I am going to provide some variation.

The tail landing gear and the trim adjuster of horizontal stabilizer.
My understanding about how to wrap the wire around the drum was wrong.
No guts to correct.
Sorry but Thanks!

Thank you Gnomey and Aaron for your kind comments!
I think you have given me big 'guts' to step forward :)

Several shots of cherry blossoms in my town today.
Walking around was also amazingly good for me to refresh myself.
Please let me share.

Thanks!

Thanks Geo for your kind comment too :)

In the northern part of our islands, we also still have snow piles like you but no more here in the southern part fortunately.
Young guys wore no jackets yesterday.

The drum has dual spiral rails for the wire.
I was careless but just corrected now :)
Thanks!
