Speaking of birds, I was fortunate enough today to have a Crane fly overhead as I was testing my new lens! I know they are a sign of good luck and good fortune so if you don't mind, I'd like to share it with you.

I wish the other kodak films can survive for some more time till the improved digital film that I want to have most may come up again.
Considering how much use they got and the abuse I threw at them, they survived exceptionally well. Although the counter broke many years ago and the power switch has been replaced a couple of times, the camera still works pretty well.
It was a free market day of the temple today.
Interesting to me, the market keeps the atmosphere of the late 1940s when there were many free markets on the street after the war.
Shinpachi, hello, it has been a while since you have updated. In your fist digital pic we call those "Weeping Willow" and there is a corkscrew variety also. I am somewhat surprised that the market would be around the temple. Is this a common practice?
