My turn to show you some of my photos.
*dryly* Surprisingly enough, there's photos of motorcycles in between.
I've always loved to run around with a camera, aiming it at all sorts of things and people - sometimes with okay results, other times not.
Anyway, here goes:

1.: Shot from the back seat of my buddy's motorcycle, Hove, Denmark - august 2006.

2.: BMW R 69 S, Touring Camp, Djursland, Denmark.

3.: Engine, BMW R 69 S.

4.: Detail, BMW R69 S.

5.: My biker buddy and his BMW K 100 RT, Jyllinge, Denmark, March 2007.

6.: Mercedes Benz - detail, Langelinie, Copenhagen, August 2006.

7.: Mercedes Benz, side view.

8.: Mercedes Benz, rear and harbour view.

9.: Unknown - air show at Flyvestation Værløse, 2002.

10.: DC-3, Værløse 2002.

11.: Spitfire. Værløse, 2002.

12.: Unknown.

13.: My best macro shot ever - so far.

Wow, I love the one with the sidecar. The sunset pic rocks. Nice!

Thanks, the old beemer belonged to our "neighbour" at the Touring Camp (campsite for motorcyclists only - car owners who shows up in cars just don't get in. ).
I talked with the owner and praised his bike to the skies - he was a really sweet elderly gentleman, who just gently swept my praise aside - but you could tell he was proud of his restoration work on that motorcycle, and that he enjoyed the praise!
He was a really sweet guy.

And the sunset pic is also a fave of mine because it shows my best buddy and "brother" with his beloved motorcycle.
The result surprised med because I shot almost straight at the sun, but the pic didn't burn out in the light areas.
O happy surprise.

Excellent pics!

But when do we see one of you BB?

Thanks Max.
As soon as I get one of my buddies to shoot one that don't make me look like a total moron.
Seriously, I'll see if I can dig one up that isn't too bad - for the members mug shot gallery.

I always look terrible in photographs, baggy eyes, wrinkled...

...hang on.. I am!

Perhaps if I bought a more expensive camera I'd look better..

Are you trying to tell me something here??? *raises an eyebrow in Maximowitz's general direction, puts biker gloves on and flexes hands... *

Nice shots. I like the sunset shot too, it has a great mood to it.

Hi Evan and thanks.
The sunset's one of my absolute faves of my buddy, and I count that as one of my best shots of him and his bike.

The sunset shot jumped out at me too.

Wheels

You've got to watch out for those sunsets, they can be a real menace!

Perish the thought! I was talking about me!

*Checks yellow stripe is still showing and runs away*

It shows alright... *waves at Maximowitz*

All ur pics are of high quality and have great composition, but ur macro shot of the 2 lady bugs gettin it on has to be one of the best EVER!!!!

Hi Les, and thanks. *broad happy, slightly proud smile*

I usually re-work my photos in Photoshop, so that they get balanced and nice to look at. I'm glad to hear that the effort isn't wasted.

The funny thing is - my biker buddy and I went on an early spring ride together.
We made a stop, and as usual I dug out the camera and went hunting for something to point the camera at.
I spotted the tiny flowers and suddenly there was this little ladybird bug making her way across one of the little yellow flowers.
I shot a series of images of her, and suddenly Mr. Ladybird comes along.
Bang! *sings*...love is in the air...everywhere you look around...
Now, you can be the best photographer in the world, and you can shoot some truly great pictures - but if luck doesn't pokes it's beautiful head out at you now and then, and smiles broadly at you, you don't get shots like that.
And yes, I count myself very lucky that Mr. Ladybird felt amorous that day.

Great shot Biker Babe. The sunset shot is my favorite though.

Thanks ABW.

Sure, I'll dig out some more pics. I've got approx. 65 Gb's worth of my photos stored on my 'pooter, there ought to be something worth looking at in between.

That macro shot is superb. ...and I love the curves on the Merc's rear view mirror / spotlight
