Thans a lot guys, I must admit that I was pleasantly surprised when I emptied the phone and saw the results.
Damn, the phone - a Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 Mini Pro - even survived being covered with the foam that Herr Lindemann showers the audience with during the song "Pu**y"! :D
Anyway, it was great fun, and I had a wonderful evening with Germany's most (in)famous, hardest rocking boy band. ;) :thumbleft: :thumbright:

Thank you very much guys. ;)

I did a furnituretiger-drawing tonight, the first in ages. ;)
Here it is:

Ya know, here's a women who rides motorcycles, likes rock concerts, ties her own flies, takes great pictures........ Where the hell were you 16 years ago?????????:) :)

Thanks again guys, and I do apologise for picking up this thread so late. *goes red-eared*
Terry, I'll give it a go. ;)
Torch: Here? *points* :D

Anyway, I got a new camera (Nikon D3200) for my birthday this year, complete with a macro lens. (Nikkor Micro 40 mm)
I chose the macro lens because I tend to use close-up functions more than I use a zoom lens - there isn't that many airshows here in Denmark, unfortunately.
And I think I'm beginning to get the hang of the thing. :)
This saturday I visited friend Susanne together with the knitting/crocheting group of female friends, and since I didn't bring anything to work on, I got out the camera and started shooting flowers and insects in Susanne's garden. :D

I usually shoot the photos a little too dark, so that there's plenty of data in the photo that I can tweak and play with.
I use Picasa for straightening up and cropping, GIMP for resizing, tweaking the details and shadows, and CyberLink PhotoDirector 3 to tweak everything and boost the color a bit.
It is a lot of fiddling, but I've got to admit that I'm pretty damned satisfied with the results. ;)
There's only a couple of years' difference between my Olympus DLSR and my Nikon, but - damn, it shows!
