Nice job on the spats Charles. When you set about sanding them to shape, is there a pattern or do you just eyeball it?

Geo

Geo: Before sanding I just make a pencil mark at the rear center, top and bottom, so I don't sand more than half way. Other that that I use a version of Wayne's Mk-1 eyeball.

Unless we get a spate of very nice weather, I am afraid the A.C. Racer is going to die on the vine.

I have been banished from the breakfast room ! My only other option is to get a heater of some kind for the garage.

Lets hope for warm weather...

The missus is working today, so I get to play in the dope. Just finished giving the Racer it's third coat of 50/50. Also glued some 1/8" balsa to the inboard ribs of the wings, to correct a screw up. The Racer will get a light sanding in awhile, and another coat of dope. Will work on the inboard edges of the wings later.

Yea... I know, it's been too long...
