Some good stuff there Wayne. Were the gear door interiors always black or was it just on certain aircraft? Geo

George, can't say for sure but it is obvious on some shots.

Okay some progress from the past few interrupted days...front canopy and gun sight fitted and some glossed areas and the first decals..port wing decal cracked so i hope it stays where it is...

Hey Wayne, another fine lesson plan here.

Question tho. I've gone back and reviewed the painting you have done. Citadel Mithril Silver base, then camo over. Then did you chip back on the camo color? What paint did you use for the camo color? Did it flake off pretty easy?

When I did the reallly weathered Brewster I used Tamiya rattle can silver under and XF Tamiya over and it came off pretty easy when I chipped it. Same same?
