Don't you just love it when they provide you with a hole bid enough to swallow the whole part. Nice solution Geo, see in the week.

Thanks guys. Nothing to show. Just spent the last couple of nights researching antennae placement on A-4's and the one thing consistent about placement is there is no consistency. I've seen three different set-ups on the aircraft I'm modeling.(Odd, you can spell modelling with one l or two and they're both correct according to spell-check.)Anyhoo, letting the glue dry and might hose it down with primer later tonight.

Anyone know the home address of the Hobbycraft mold maker?

I think it might be '666 One Way Dead End street, Hell'.

I suspect his neighbours on one side are the trench diggers who did the panel lines on Matchbox kits and some of the new tool Airfix ones, and on the other the people who planned the fit of DML/ Dragon, Monogram, Roden, MPM and many Italeri kits...

Just to let you know, the A-4 is still alive and hasn't met the wall...yet. It did however, meet the floor during the primer phase and a wing slat guide vanished into the ether. I'll use the part from my other A-4 to make a copy using my trusty PRC Employee swipe-card.(That thing has had more use on this model than when I used it for work.) Applying the final colors, should be done tonight with touch-ups to follow. I'm using Tamiya XF-55 for the grey, a tad darker than the color chip in "The Official Monogram US Navy Marine Color Guide" but c'est la vie.
