Looking really close at pictures but see no evidence at all of antenna wires even on high res pics of BU-B. Just the 2 whip antennas top and bottom rear fuse. Anyone know if it's possible there were no wires?

Andy, the whip antennas are probably for a VHF radio, so no wires, which were for the HF sets.

Thanks guys. Terry, there are two whips evident on BU-B, one on top and one below. I have seen pics of other aircraft with the antenna wire present along with the top whip but not all 3, though profiles show this.

Hm. I think I'd go with just the whip antennas. One is likely to be the VHF, and the other possibly IFF, or a nav aid.
