In both cases I seal the wash with Testors Dull Coat. Nail polish remover is a pretty "Hot" solvent, the older stuff was acetone. Mineral spirits is pretty mild and doesn't affect the Future at all. I use to use paint thinner and wile that also did not affect the Future, the fumes were pretty bad. I now use the low odor mineral spirits for this as well as cleaning out my brushes and air brushes. Makes a big difference in the confined space of my back porch.Interesting Glenn. I used some nail polish remover to try and remove a black ink wash as an experiment and it took off the future and the ink down to bare plastic. Gonna have to experiment some more. How did you seal the wash without it running?
