In both cases I seal the wash with Testors Dull Coat. Nail polish remover is a pretty "Hot" solvent, the older stuff was acetone. Mineral spirits is pretty mild and doesn't affect the Future at all. I use to use paint thinner and wile that also did not affect the Future, the fumes were pretty bad. I now use the low odor mineral spirits for this as well as cleaning out my brushes and air brushes. Makes a big difference in the confined space of my back porch.
