Looking for help on sequence of applying Alclad II. The underside of this P-47 will be NMF and I'll be using Alclad lacquer. The topsides will be Tamiya acrylic and I'd like to get a soft edge. I'll read up on this in my references but if anyone knows of the best sequence, let me know. I'm thinking Alclad first, then Tamiya over it.
 
Done good Andy, never used the Alclad but I will always lay down the 'metal' colour first then the paint...I can always get a nice tight feathered edge with the tamiya so that part doesn't bother me it's all in getting the right mix of paint and thinner and pressure...
 
Thanks Wayne. The Alclad article I've bookmarked confirms that. I'll lay down the NMF on the underside first but will need to do a bit of lean up and priming before I get there.
