Mike, I have the same series grades and colouring but soft backed sheets that are very pliable. The 12,000 grey grade is great for cleaning back after a paint spray.

Mmmm...need to get me some of them polishing sticks....Cheers Mike.

Well, progress has been ongoing, been painting and masking and masking and painting sections plus some panel line work the past couple of days at work to try and keep rolling on...here is a portion of that progress.

Still haven't assembled her fully yet as once I do this transporting to and from work becomes a pain...

Wayne, the sticks are really neat and are washable and the "grit" is glued (flexible) to cloth then to a very flexible foam. The crystal grit then can move (up/down/around) during the sanding process. This produces a surface with very fine scratches (RMS of 1.0; i.e. 0.002mm or less).

Man I wish I could just sit and watch you airbrush for 10 minutes. I cannot comprehend in my mind how you do that awesome technique.

OK...the lottery tonite is 30 million, so anyone wanting to go see Wayne, pop me a message after I pick up the money. I told the lottery lady to give me the winning ticket and she said ok. Agree with the others about the paint.

Just checked my numbers, I was only 6 numbers off. Next Fridays draw is now 50 million so I am pretty confident I'll win that one.

Nice touch with the spray Wayne, do you think you will make it in time.

I was thinking maybe an extra week would be in order seeing that a couple of other guys were struggling and we only have 5 finished entries so far. What do you think fellow judges!

Our Powerball also went off this week, $70 mill between two people. Damn!

Oh well back to the drawing board and dreaming for me.

Thanks Guys, I think an extra week will be necessary for me, I didn't get much time at all this weekend so will keep masking and airbrushing during my lunch breaks this week and at some point during this process I will fit the wings in place for the final work as once the wings are attached it's going to be a pain to carry around.

I did however do the panel lines on the other lower wing assembly.

Even though i am not judged, I don't see a problem with allowing some extra time for others to be finished for the judged portion of our GB.

Thanks Guys, chippin' away....more paint and masking....
