Wayne looking back at post #1 it appears as though only one color sharp-line cammo was used over the metal skin. Is this what you are going for? This seems to be an excellent way to achieve that rather than stencils

Your getting there mate and as it was just you and I in this compo with judges hats and Andy's earlier input, I've extended the finish line to 7 Sept.

Cheers Vic, hope that extra week see's me done...had the day off today and spent a good number of hours on her including the first wing attached....will get those pics up later

Ok I see the two color. I was going by the box pic which seems to show metal skin with another single cammo color painted over it. I thought you might paint the open areas metallic Al for example.
When I do 2 color cammo I paint the whole model the lighter color then add the darker bands. On the Hs I'm doing all over white then putting in the green stripes over the white. Is one way better than another? As always Wayne looking good

Hey Mike, normally I would do the lighter colour overall and then the darker colour, but that would mean about an extra 3 or 4 hours painting doing it the way i do so I chose to do each colour as I went along to save time, remember this is a big mother!.

On to some more progress pics, working my way along..have now superglued the Brass tube wing support into the port wing.

thanks for looking in Guys.

Thanks Guys,

More again, the port wing has now been attached, set and joints prepped, since these shots most of the upper fuselage has had the 73 Lighter green applied and the area under the wing painted as well. next is the 72 on the upper fuselage and probably some of the white camo and then the starboard wing to be attached....stay tuned!
