those colours look more like it i will give this one a try then wont be easy given no airbrush but all the more challenging for that i think thank you guys once again for your help
 
A question about the ZG 1 if I may....

Did all the gruppen carry the wespe noseart? Didn't the II Gruppe operate out from somewhere in Italy in '43 and also fly G-2's?
 
Far as I know, yes. And with the Wespe nose art.
Jamie, for your mottle, without an airbrush, have a look at my reply in the thread on 'Mottle'. It might help you.

this is from Bf110 in action, very old book, with tons of mistakes and speculations. Bf110E-2 had no long tail.

And this colour profile, noted as E-1, is a mistake again, E-1 had long tail as D series. Also, this direct airctaft, 3U+ZS, is most probably Bf110C-6, equipped with MG101 (note: NOT MK101!) instead of 2 x MG-FF/M.

Desert camou for Bf110 is the only as shown on photoes.

of course at some point i will just have to build all the others as well

starting to feel the same might just do it red for the hell of it
But no i will stick to the last stated objective which at least is the same unit as this one just a couple years earlier
 
Actually, III./ZG26 received a serie of Bf110 with RLM 79/78 desert camou only once, and there were Bf110E-2/Trop. clearly visible on photoes.

All other D's, E-1's wer in standart 02/71/65, as F's and G's (in 43) were in 74/75/76.

P.S. There were never such an aircraft called Bf110C-4/B Another specalation.

In real it was Bf110C-7.
