Harrison.

I guess I haven't been keeping up with this thread like I should. You've made some big progress on this bird. Like I said before you've been making some great progress with your skills. I don't think I can add anything that hasn't already been said except for two tidbits.

One, there is usually no need to waste tape making the first color unless you are making off a cockpit or some other piece that you don't want to get paint on.The over spray will be covered with the next color. Again it saves time, tame and money.

Two, I'm sure this may have already been said but less is better. Don't try to fully cover the model in one sitting. It's easier to add more paint rather then trying to remove too much. This is an issue I still struggle with myself.

ok I have one more for you. Never rush masking. The more time you you spend getting it right before the paint is applied the the better the end result will be.

Keep up the good work Harrison, enjoy your vacation and have a Happy New year.

Now waiting for paint to dry I did the liquid masks.......I'll finish a few tiny ones I didn't do later... my back hurts.

Your back hurts? Your under 20 for godsake. You should wake up feeling spritely, appreciative of the beautiful bright sunny day, full of energy and thinking of bikini clad hotties. Your back hurts?

Gotta build up those modeling neck muscles.. I work my neck out everyday. Its the only way to stay on top of the competition

Ohh... I can change that with the needle thing at the back. I tested on cardboard I have proof!

If you don't read your instruction book I'm gonna send out a couple of high school seniors to give you a beat down.

You can't refer to critical portions of your compressor/spray gun as "thingys" anymore. Learn what they are and what they do, B. Don't rush it. Your instruction booklet will have VERY important tips.

Things like...

- How to spray in overlapping patterns that begin and end past your subject

- Nice light coats are better than a single thick coat of paint

- How to master compound curves when spraying

- Cleaning

- Cleaning

- Oh... did I mention cleaning?

Sorry, I just read the part about attaching to a compressor and paint flow because that was the issue.

Oh and don't worry about the high schoolers giving me a beat down...I have my older brother...

 No, I like where this is going. H continue to use your pressure washer....err airbrush while your Uncle Matt posts more pics.

Seriously H, nice job. First time I ever used the dam thing I painted everything BUT my model.
