I guess I haven't been keeping up with this thread like I should. You've made some big progress on this bird. Like I said before you've been making some great progress with your skills. I don't think I can add anything that hasn't already been said except for two tidbits.
One, there is usually no need to waste tape making the first color unless you are making off a cockpit or some other piece that you don't want to get paint on.The over spray will be covered with the next color. Again it saves time, tame and money.
Two, I'm sure this may have already been said but less is better. Don't try to fully cover the model in one sitting. It's easier to add more paint rather then trying to remove too much. This is an issue I still struggle with myself.
ok I have one more for you. Never rush masking. The more time you you spend getting it right before the paint is applied the the better the end result will be.
