Gents, in Modelmana no.7 it is said that the kite was painted with RLM76.75,82,83 and 02.Looking at some pics of the RED13 we can see that these spots under number13 were painted with a colour which was slightly darker than the one used for the fuselage and the fin+rudder. So it wasn't RLM76/78/65 rather. In J.Crandall's book these colour profiles show us that it could be RLM02.Looking at the B&W Red13 general view I believe it was the colour.

Nope, sorry Wojtek....mixed myself.

Edit: I did, RLM02 is Vallejo 71044. But I had to add some white though...

Thanks again!

Cheers guys!

The RLM02 was of greenish tonality. And an additional question. Why didn't you make these spots with masks (patterns)? You should remember about their correct shape.

That I did first Wojtek. When I repaired the "damage" later I just followed the contour(?) of the previous layer. A bit of hit and miss with the spots, not having any in scale to work from...just guessing their shape where you could really see them.

Hum... green...possible but which one? RLM02 is also of green tonality.
