Looking brill Wayne. Isn't it fantastic to have a personal consultant, with access to the real thing?!!!

nice that you look at it that way pal and i am just happy to help..as i have been involved in this kit from day one in the making of it with Revell so i just want my "babies" to be made correct hehe

yepp- of course i want my "offsprings " to be "brought" up correct you have no idea how many hrs i spend with the making of this kit doing all sorts of things for Revell when they made it..so no wonder i keep a track and follow up on it hehe

and actually..in the beginning when Revell contacted us they were planning to do a A-4..i was the one that turned the table into the A-1..as i said..ok..make a A-4--its been done several times before ( in 1:48 ).. do a A-4 and keep doing all the errors that has been done over the years with it ( as none survives intact complete originally )

or..do a A-1 that never has been made and be the first with that ..and be the first to make a Junkers 88 kit correct ( as there are noen others this close as the 1:32 are now ) and do it battle of Britain ( and you have a tiny little iland of the coast of france that will go ape and running to the stores buying it..

and use our A-1 as acomplete pattern with all details.. and yous ee what they came up with..hehe

so yes.. i see it as my babies and i am still proud of it ( and also a fact that they have my website on the frontpage of the manual ( lower bottom ) and our museum ther as thanks says enough

so keep up the good work with the kits and run buying them ( no..i dont earn any from that but it still makes me proud..i have posted this picture earlier..but this is testkit nr 2 from revell that we got..its on disaply in the museum in a glasscage next to the original .. Nr 2 made in the world

sorry for hijacking your therad,,mulate mine any time in revenge..hehe
just a proud father showing of his babies..lol

Still think those pics are some of the best I've seen; the lighting and natural background are superb. And you have every right to be proud Guttorm, if it hadn't been for you, we wouldn't have a good JU88, never mind the A-1. Get yourself a pint or three - Jan's paying!!!

Did a test fit of the cockpit assembly and fuselage..but glued the bombardier's seat in place first to the starboard side of the cockpit, there is a slight interference fit of this seat to the other seat assembly, but will play around a bit after the seat is properly 'set'.
A few more bits to add still......nearly there!!

Looks the dog's Wayne! Unless the forthcoming Spit IX from Tamiya takes it, this has got to be the best 1/32nd scale kit ever produced - and probaly still will be, at £35 approx in the UK, against £100 for the Spit !
