Ok, first item on the agenda...the tail wheel assembly....
Painted the parts first, masked the hub, found a suitable round template and sprayed the white for the white wall part of the tyre.....worked out well!!
Andy, far as I remember, the white wall was just an indication that the tyre was of the 'earthing' type. I believe it was the tyre compound itself which did the job. Guttorm explained it a while back in one of his threads, I think the one about the restoration of the Ju88.
