I see. There is no need to have lot of the gel.A small amout should be enough.

Harry the pencil is made wrong with the tape. Two strips and these are enough.Use scissors to cut strips off. Do it again please. Have a look at my pics.

My first model was of cardboard and took me a week to make it. My first plastic kit was of 1/72 scale and took four days without painting because both enamels and acrilics weren't available in that time here in Poland. My first paints were Humbrol enemaels and I still use them. Of course I use acrilics these days as well but those oil enamels are basic ones.

Why I use enamels.... because their time of drying is quite long what is very useful for brushing.

You are welcome.:)

But the pencil is still made wrongly.Remove the whole tape from it. Cut two thin ( narrow) strips. These should be as large as the pencil is narrow. The ending top of the pencil should be covered with the adhesive side of the one strip.

LUCKY! You actually have friend who build models. I have one boy in my grade who has an F-14D 1/48 scale Tomcat in his closet. That's about the closest.

Now it looks perfectly. :D

So the next step is to stick one of these disks to the pencil like in pics bellow. A such holding will let you to operate it easily.Right?
