After performing the plug trick, I find that the inside dimensions are 3/8" wide or about 8mm and 9/16" deep or about 14mm. How deep inside my supports go will depend on how thick I make them. I'll tell once I have it figured out.

Well I was finally able to spray the bottom part. It seems a little light in color to me so I may shoot again, otherwise it's not too bad. What do you guys think of the color?
Bit hard to tell against the blue background, but the contrast against the black foam looks close. remember it will go darker with progressive clear coats.
Maybe a tad light Bill if you're shooting for Neutral Gray, and possibly a little blue, but that could easily be the lighting or the white balance setting on the camera. Neutral Gray shouldn't have any brown or blue tone to it.
