New logo design, slight modification of the old one as I am getting some free ad space in an upcoming airshow program. You should see it as a full page!

Thanks everyone. It's been a tough weekend to get through. Today is the second anniversary of Flyboyj's father in law's death and I learned today of a crash last night that killed a really super guy and great performer, Seamus McCaughley. Everyone who knew him is in total shock. So rather than adding newer photos from the last couple of days, I want to leave a small memorial for Seamus. Blue Skies and tail winds, buddy. You will be greatly missed.

Maybe I'm just grumpy this morning, but I have grown really tired of periodicals asking for a rush job to get some photos. I send them and then send them the invoice and they say "We haven't decided if we will publish it or not". Then I send an invoice that gets ignored. Then I see the periodical with my photo in it. Another publisher on my fecal roster. That's just bad business.

Turn'em in to the Credit Bureau. And see if your bank has a program where they will go after them. My bank does. If I don't get paid for a job, after three bill notices have been sent, I turn it over to my bank and they go after them and turn them into the Credit Bureau also. The bank takes a 20% fee but you can tac on a little more to make up for that.

After the last few weeks of craziness, I got some "flying therapy" yesterday. A group of friends run a formation training schedule. I went out to Fullerton Airport to meet up with them. From there, I got in a Great Lakes and flew in formation with an RV-4 for a flight to Chino. At Chino, I rode in the back of the RV-4 to shoot a American General AG5B (Grumman Tiger). After debrief, we flew back to Fullerton with me in the RV-4 again to photograph the Great Lakes. It was a fun day.
