Great shot of your daughter, Eric!

I'll admit that I cringe when my K-5 shifts itself to ISO3200...I am so used to keeping my K100D locked in at ISO200 (unless stuff is moving, then the ISO bumps up...)

That is pretty nice for high ISO Eric, generally avoid it with mine. Although I keep looking at the 7D (saw it for 50% of on Amazon the other day so at around £1100 not £2200 with the 15-85mm and almost jumped)...

Thanks guys. With the D80 or the D50, ISO 3200 would have been crappy at best. I am very impressed with the capabilities of the D300.

It has been a whirlwind of a month and personally, I am ready for it to be over. As many of you know, my father passed away almost 2 weeks ago. I had planned on shooting the Cable airshow both days and flying both days for some aerial shots. Once dad passed away, those things became unimportant. I have begun work on my third book, as yet to be named or titled. And yesterday, we pulled a full on tourist look with the whole family carrying cameras around the botanic gardens near our home. My son has quite a good eye, as you can see below. You can see a sample from my wife, Laura, Jacob and Kayleigh below. Yes, I am proud.

Thanks Vic. Some days are better than others. I know it'll take some time.

I have finished my book layout and all the pages, just going through once more for syntax issues. I am hoping to have the book up on the publishers site by the end of the week.
