Time to mount the upper wings and exhaust pipes.

but the show must go on. By far the most demanding job are the exhaustpipes. I took plastic tube and inserted copperwire though to fix the bending I had to do. That's the result:

The engine cowl is from the newtool Dora. Later I changed it to the oldtool Dora which gives a more weighty look.

Hi all,
just returned from an exhibition event over the weekend. Time to do an update.

I found a spinner of the venerable P51 B of Revells 70-ties edition. Will try to change it to the correcgt V18 sinner.

Looking very nice. :D
But these seams of the wing leading edge still have to be corrected I'm afraid.

That's the final shape of the spinner. The props were made from three Spitfire blades and one from a 109 (old Revell and Hasegawa stuff).
I cemented plastic card on the backside of each prop and cut out the correct outline. the rest is 2K putty and alot of sanding. The prop bosses are made of aluminium tubing.
