I too was wondering about how the wings were going to be designed for such a large model. I'm suspecting that there will be some clever engineering for structural strength to prevent wing droop.

Thanks fellas for all of your replies, The build still continues. The fuselage is starting to grow into shape, The update for tonight is the skins I have constructed skin number 4 and its formers. anyone who has ever build card models before must know the rule of thumb a lot of card modlers dont like former to former construction there is a trick to it, to avoid over sized gaps the matching formers have to be mirror imaged by taking both formers sanding them so they are Identical then when the skins are glued back to back they leave no margin of oversized joints which takes forever to burnish out. Here is the update of the construction of the fuselage I will post more in the morning.

The fuselage is starting to take shape i should pretty well have all the skins done in the morning. After the skins are attached I will start on the4 bomb bay and completed the fuselage. The gomix kit is a beautifull kit a card modlers delight, this kit is not designed for the novis youhave to have a lot of card kits under your belt before you attack this one. So far the build is going smoothly with no fit issues some these flymodel kit the earlier ones were all hand drawn and present a bunch of fit issues. Here is the update for the night i will have more tomorrow.

Boats, I would like to ask you a question... what do you use for colouring of edges of parts?

Ahoy wojtek
I use colored pencils, or magic markers by bic, there is a time I mix up water based Polly S paint in the military selections but black is the best Wojtek it gives thye seams the effect of panel lines, after the glue and the marker or paint has eried aroma free. I spray on a coat of Krylon clear and burnish in the seams and it blends it in with the skins. The rule of thuimb in edging the parer is to use the color of the printing, In the case of the Lancaster I used black, Dark Earth and Dark green when done gle together and burnish.
