Damn Dan whats up with the Islanders?

They have fallen to last place in the division. They dont seem to be scoring too many points. 85 Goals for and 101 allowed.

My Pens who right now are in 2nd place with 2 points ahead of the Islanders have allowed 111 goals but atleast they have scored 101 goals to go with it.

The pens should make the playoffs but they really need a good goalie

Saw the Winter Classic yesterday - great game! Reminded me of playing "pond hockey" as a kid.

Sid Crosby - what a player - the kid as it all and he could fight when pushed to do so.

Love the old Pittsburgh Uniforms - they should of never changed them.

Now if they only get rid of the stupid numbers and go back to the traditional numbers!!!!!!!

I agree Joe.

Crosby is the man as well. He is so young but such a good player. When his career is over (barring any stupid injuries) he will be up there with the greats of the game.

How about them Pens! They knocked off Florida 3-0 to keep there spot in 2nd place. Sid had another goal and assist.

Whats up with the Islanders Dan? They seem to have slipped a bit.

Now I know why I stayed away from this thread. Dan, you hate the Flyers??? The Broad-street bullies? I guess just as much as I hate the Isles, oh well.

Reggie Leech and Bob Kelly live in my area and always show up for animal-related events at my Animal Shelter. Got a few pics will try to post. Great guys.

My fav player was Brad Marsh. He was a nutcase.

My Flyers ain't doing so great. Devils handed it to them, again!

IIt's close in the standings between Ilses and Flyers and the Flyers are back to being the Broad Street Bullies it seems

I hate the fu*kin Flyers almost as the fu*kin Rangers..... And the Isles aint really doin too bad.... We're doin better than the Sabres, tied with Philly and one point off from the Rangers....

The division is actually a pretty tight division. There is no team really running away with it.

Only 2 teams with any sort of a lead Ottawa and NJ the rest are way too close Washington is closing in on the pack .The B's lucked out against NJ last night

NJ is only a point ahead of Pitsburgh and 5 points ahead of the Islanders. They dont really have any lead.

you have to combine the standings of the Eastern divisions together to see how it is . but NJ has a whole whack of home games in hand because their new arena wasn't ready at the beginning of the season so they played a lot on the road.

You mean Ottowa and Detroit. Detroit has 70 points and Ottowa has 60.

Pittsburgh is rolling now! They seem to have found a goal keeper in Ty
Conklin. Damn they are kicking ass. The offense is rolling, the defense is holding.

The Pens have 52 points and are only 1 point behind New Jersey.

Conklin isn't the answer IMHO but its working for now without a doubt now if the Bruins could only bea Momtreal 0-5 this season

Yeah I certainly dont think he is a permanant solution but if it is not broke, well dont fix it. Right now it is not broke.

Your Pens moght be broke now Sid is out for 6-8 weeks with a high ankle sprain .Hope Malkin can pick up the slack for you. Kills me in my pools. I 've got to hope the Bruins can beat Montreal tonight so far they are 0-5 this season . Montreal always seems to have the B's number
