Thanks Guys,

after the Golden temple we headed back into Central kyoto and more of those huge Covered malls that just keep going into the distance, from here we headed to the eastern part of Kyoto to Otawa Mountain, where we visit the Budhist temple of Kiyomizu Dera, first we have to head up through the narrow walk of wall to wall shops to the Deva Gate Pagoda,

Thanks.

looking down from the main temple to the Otawa waterfall Quote from Japan Guide "The Otowa Waterfall is located at the base of Kiyomizudera's main hall. Its waters are divided into three separate streams, and visitors use cups attached to long poles to drink from them. Each stream's water is said to have a different benefit, namely to cause longevity, success at school and a fortunate love life. However, drinking from all three streams is considered greedy."

Then along along path out in the distance is Koyasu Pagoda.
