Not sure who the artist is, unfortunately, because I'd love to see more of thier work. The style is very reminescant of the 20's and 30's.

I found this some time ago when searching for Zepplin style images, at one point, I tried searching for "SkyShips"...and this file appeared, aptly named "Skyship Armada"...

It was a big image, 1200x745.

That Skyship Armada is pretty weird. Obviously above the breathable oxygen altitude yet... Artistic license is not encumbered by science. What am I thinking?

Here's my faves that I use regularly:

1: My biker buddy's beemer in the sunset at Herringløse. My own photo.
2 + 3:
4: A mountain top near Fensterbach, Grossglockner Hochalpenstrasse, Austria. My own holiday photo.
5: Waterfall at Königsee, Southern Germany. My own holiday photo.
6: Kehlsteinhaus, Berchtesgaden, Obersalzberg, Southern Germany. My own holiday photo.
7: Burg Hohenwerfen, Austria. My own holiday photo. "Where Eagles Dare" anyone?
8: Some nice warbirds.

Good luck with your race, Unless of course one of my relatives is racing against you.
Shouldn't be a problem though, I don't know of any that are racing at the moment.

You had me for a moment with the abbreviation until I remebered my relatives call Teutopolis T-town.
I hung out in several of the small towns in the area when I was a kid.
My grandparents lived in Edgewood.

To keep from hijacking the thread futher we should continue this in a PM.
If you want of course.
